Curriculum Intent
Rosedale's Religious Education Curriculum aims to equip pupils so that they will:
- be ready to participate in life in modern, diverse Britain;
- be literate and articulate about religions and beliefs;
- have a deeper social, moral, spiritual and cultural understanding at a local, national and global level.
The curriculum overview below provides an overview of the long-term overview for this subject.
To support the implementation of our RE curriculum, we draw on Jigsaw RE.
Curriculum documentation then identifies:
- Within each unit, what concepts/knowledge will be taught and in what sequence;
- Within each concept and lesson, the core knowledge pupils will learn.
