We are delighted that you are considering joining Rosedale Primary School. Below, we have outlined the process of applying to join our school. We have a 45-place Nursery and 30 places in each year group. Follow the steps below to apply for a place at Rosedale:
1. Visit Rosedale
If you are considering joining Rosedale, we warmly welcome visits to our school. Contact us on (01302) 782744 or via admin@rosedale.doncaster.sch.uk to arrange a school tour. We will also be able to confirm whether there are spaces in your child's year group.
We also hold a number of Open Evenings across the year.
2. Apply Online
The application process for admission to our academies is administered by City of Doncaster Council. This includes nursery, primary and secondary applications. Please follow the link below for further information relating to this process.

3. Let us know you have applied
It can sometimes take a little time for Rosedale to be notified that you have applied to our school. Let us know that you have applied in the meantime.
4. Confirmation
Once we receive confirmation that you have been allocated a place at Rosedale, we will be in contact to discuss anything and everything both you and the school require. This may include:
- Start dates
- Ordering uniform from
- Any special educational needs and provision we are able to offer
- Any questions you have
- Transitioning to Rosedale
- If you have applied to Nursery, we will contact you to discuss the school day with you (all 3-year olds are eligible for 15 hours, so this may be mornings/afternoons or 'blocked' days). Equally, we are able to discuss whether you are eligible for 30 hours of provision.
