Year 4

Welcome to Year 4

A huge welcome back from the Year 4 Team - Miss Taylor, Mrs Storey, Mrs Cragg and Mrs Wray.

We can't wait to get stuck into the new academic year!

On our page you will find lots of information about upcoming events and we will share what we have been learning too.

Should you need to carry out any learning from home, this is where you'll find everything you will need.

As parents are not allowed to escort children into the classroom, please contact me on ClassDojo, write a note in your child's planner or contact the school office if you need to talk to me for any reason.

America Day by Grace S Y4

Last week Y4 wore red, white and blue because it represents USA. We ate hotdogs,

brownies and popcorn. It was yummy and we also had a picture with some masks. We watched a video of an eating contest and we made America dollar money. We did the front and back and we made an America flag and we did 50 stars. That’s crazy right! We got colours and we got red and blue because it represents the USA.

Year 4 Science Investigation – Electricity

In our science lessons we are learning about electricity. In one lesson we made a circuit and lit up a lamp using a battery, two wires and a lightbulb with a holder. We found out that electricity travels through metal.
