We focus on learning with reading at the heart of everything we do

Year 4

Welcome to Year 4

Meet the team in Year 4:

Mrs Endley - Class Teacher (Mon, Tues, Weds)

Mrs Hellewell - Class Teacher (Thurs, Fri)

Mrs Leeman - Teaching Assistant

Mrs Duffield - Teaching Assistant

Mr Clayton - Teaching Assistant

We are really looking forward to getting stuck in to a brand new year and an exciting curriculum. It's lovely that school has the usual buzz about it too! We are looking forward to working together to support your child with their learning journey.

We will be using Class Dojo to communicate with parents and share children's learning. You can also contact the class teacher via Dojo too.

Make sure you bring your reading book and your planner to

school every day. Don't forget to get your planner signed to show you have read at home. There is a chance to win a prize in the weekly Reading Raffle if you have read 4 times or more!

Bring your PE kit on a Monday and leave it at school.

Don't forget your water bottle so you can keep hydrated.

Have a go on TTRockstars to practise your times tables as often as you can.

Practise your spellings, ready for your weekly test.

We have 3 Key Questions to explore this Spring:

HISTORY: How does the Mayan civilisation contrast to British history?

GEOGRAPHY: How is the UK differently geographically to South America?
