WELCOME TO YEAR 3
Hello everyone and welcome to our Year 3 page.
The year 3 team - Mrs Endley, Mrs Hellewell and Mrs Senior can't wait to get going with the new academic year. It's going to be an interesting one!
On our page you will find lots of information about upcoming events and we will share what we have been learning too.
Should you need to carry out any learning from home, this is where you'll find everything you will need.
As parents are not allowed in the classroom at the moment, please contact us via Class Dojo, write a note in your child's planner or contact the school office if you need to talk to us for any reason.
Hello. I'm one of the Year 3 class teachers. I have been teaching for 20 years and have been at Rosedale for 3 years. I love my job and really enjoy seeing children achieving their goals and enjoying their learning. We have lots of exciting new learning opportunities planned for this year and I can't wait to get started!
I have recently got married and have 2 lovely children called Daisy and Henry. I love spending time with my family and we all enjoy walking and being out in the fresh air. We also love to go on holidays to France and Ireland.
I am Mrs Hellewell and I enjoy teaching at Rosedale for the second time. I was much younger when I worked here before! Mr Hellewell and I share 4 grown up children, who we are very proud of, and a little terrier called Nellie.
At school I like to work as part of a team, both inside our classroom and with all the other adults. I also love taking part in musical activities with the children.
When I am not in school I adore reading and I really do read every day! I also love creating; either baking, knitting, crocheting or sewing and I attend weekly classes and workshop days some weekends so I can keep learning.
My name is Mrs Senior and I have worked at Rosedale for the past 7 years. I really enjoy working with children and seeing them progress throughout the school.
Outside of school, I am a qualified dance teacher and one of my greatest achievements was taking part in the most prestigious events in the dance world, Miss Dance of Great Britain in 1996. I continue to teach at the dancing school where my dancing career began.
I am married to John and we have a teenage daughter called Bailey-Jo, who attends Ridgewood School. We love having family time together at home.
