Science

We have put together a carefully sequenced curriculum for teaching science. We have used the National Curriculum as our starting point and have then mapped out the knowledge and that will be taught in each year group ensuring that there is progression and that when learning something new, children have the appropriate prior knowledge to ensure they understand the new concept. 

 

We have carefully mapped out the scientific vocabulary so that there is a clear expectation about what vocabulary children will know by the end of each year group.
