School Council

We have an excellent School Council who meet every fortnight to discuss school life. There are two councillors from each class and they are supported by Mrs Senior and Mrs Theaker. Councillors are elected by their classmates each September. Councillors feed back to their class after meetings and bring suggestions from their classmates to the meetings. On this page you'll see minutes of School Council meetings.

Thank you!

School Council wanted to say thank you to our wonderful staff and presented every member of staff with a certificate and a cupcake. What a lovely gesture at the end of a challenging year.

Tuck Shop

School Council run a healthy tuck shop every Wednesday break time. Children choose the products to sell, promote it to their friends and then sell the products each week.

Inspiring Children - Trust School Council

As well as our School Council, we have three representatives on our Trust School Council called Inspiring Children. This group includes children from each of Rosedale, Bentley High Street and Willow who meet regularly to find out about each other's schools as well as plan and organise joint events between the schools in our trust.

Joint projects planned for this year include a Trust Sports Day, a Trust Choir, a writing project with classes twinned to share writing and a Trust recycling project.

Below is a photo of one of our Trust Council meetings which was followed by us giving the children from Willow and Bentley High Street a tour of school.
