We focus on learning with reading at the heart of everything we do

Welcome back to a new half term!

Children return to school on Tuesday. This half term is another short one at only 5 weeks but we have a lot packed into it!

This week we have some children from across several year groups representing Rosedale at a gymnastics festival on Wednesday. Children involved should have received letters about it. Please see your child's class teacher if you need more information about it.

Also on Wednesday, Year 1 are going to be having a walk around the local area to launch their topic Splendid Skies.

On Thursday, Year 2 parents are invited to a meeting in the Infant Hall to provide some information about the SATs tests taken in May. This starts at 2.30pm.

Events planned this term include World Book Day, a whole school Maths Day and a Science Super Learning Day. We also have various class visits taking place and we’ll also be completing mid-year assessments to look at children’s progress. Mr Brown will be taking children to represent the school in various sports competitions and we have sports activities in school.

You can find dates of events on the school website and also in the newsletter which will be sent home shortly.

  • There are no events for the next 10 weeks.
