The language that we teach at Rosedale is Spanish. Children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are taught some key words and phrases that are used within the school day, for example greetings. This enables them to build a familiarity with Spanish.
Children in Key Stage 2 have a timetabled Spanish lesson each week.
In September we will be having a Spanish Day to celebrate our learning of Spanish and to find out more about the countries where Spanish is spoken.
